Ophrys Apifera ‘Flora Londinensis’ Botanical Print inspired north BuckinghamshirePublished and printed in 1777 by William Curtis. Only 300 copies of this book were issued. The book described the flora found in London and surrounding areas in the mid 18th century. The hand coloured copperplate engravings were by botanical artists such as James Sowerby, Sydenham Edwards and William Kilburn.
