Future California "Navy" - by Clinker Casey Size:7 7/8 A tribute to all theRecently, Minnesota updated their flag. It inspired me to take a stab at my states flag. As a very proud 6th generation Californian, I felt the weight of the challenge. I obviously simplified some of the illustrated elements, removing the CALIFORNIA REPUBLIC text. The grizzly is even more front and center but this time theyre also in the shape of a wave. The grass the bear is standing on is now in the shape of the Sierras in the background. To me,
