The eighty lots included dresses by Catherine Walker, Victor Edelstein, Gina Fratini for Hartnell, Christina Stambolian, Ballville Sasoon and Lorcan Mullany, Zandra Rhodes, Bruce Oldfield, Hachi, Jaques Azagury, Emanuel, Murray Arbeid and Yuki. Each dress is illustrated as well as numerous photographs of the princess wearing the items, close up details and reproductions of designers' drawings. The auction took place a couple of months before the Princess' death. Proceeds benefited several AIDS and cancer charities.
