It's in excellent shape, both cosmetically and mechanically. No line grooves. The ebonite handle spins freely as it should. The springs are nice and tight. Gear teeth and dual pawls are in great shape with very sharp points. Frame has knurled edges. Original ribbed brass reel foot is straight and full length. Spool width (inside to inside) is 1. 2". No
