2018 Da Silva Cabernet Franc “Avila Family Vineyard” spaghetti Bolognese The mid-palate offers dry herbsThe 2018 Cab Franc is another Da Silva classic, and one of my favourites of the entire portfolio. 36 months in barrels with an even split of French and American oak. Gracious and classy, this wine also shows some power and a great level of concentration. On the nose, very expressive aromas of ripe raspberry, red currants, tomato leaves, milk chocolate, dried thyme and sagebrush. The palate offers dark cherry, blackberry, red pepper, red currants,
