Lot 082 - Vintage Stag-Handled Hunting Knife with Leather Sheath, Manufactured by John Nowill and Sons, Sheffield, England, 9-1/4" L 2695 Pre-Auction Notes: heavy wear toVintage hunting knife with a stag handle, stacked leather and metal spacers at the guard, and a metal pommel cap. The blade is stamped "J Nowill & Sons Sheffield, England Established 1700." The knife is accompanied by a brown leather belt sheath with a snap closure strap and a stamped arrowhead or leaf motif on the front. The blade shows scratching and patina across its surface. The leather sheath shows cracking, scuffing, and wear to the finish.
