Antique Japanese Elm Hibachi The Roost possibly a “taco jarAntique Japanese hibachi from the Kyoto region, made from elm circa 1900. Used originally to heat drinks and generally keep the room warm, now repurposed as a coffee table. It has a copper lined box where you'd originally have your coals, it'd be perfect for storing magazines or you could have a piece of glass over the hole. There are three long drawers on the side and one lidded compartment on top. The colour of the wood is stunning and i'm obsessed
