Lot 068 - Pair of Vintage Folk Art Hand-Carved Painted Fish Figures with Glass Eyes, Signed "DL", 18" L each 2595P12 Presented in a gilt gessoPair of vintage folk art hand carved wooden fish figures, each depicted in a vertical diving pose with open mouths and glass inset eyes. The bodies are painted in green and teal tones with incised scale detailing, and the fins and tails are painted brown. Each fish is signed on the reverse with incised initials "DL." Both figures show chips and losses to the carved fins, paint loss, and general surface wear throughout.
