Four Circles Spoon agate Roughly 1" at the WidestA range of hand cut vintage spoons featuring asymmetrical patterns and textures. The Petri Dish series turns the bowl of the spoon into a site of change, becoming a medium for experimentation much like its namesake. Using a jewelry sawblade, Brian cuts delicate asymmetrical, fractal patterns into the spoons a process that is especially difficult because of the uneven surface and changing thickness of the metal throughout the bowl of the spoon.
