One-of-a-Kind: 19th Century Churn Dash Flora Jacket (M) coverlet This quilt came to usThis Flora Jacket is made from a midweight quilt that is hand pieced and quilted (with black thread in areas!) in a Churn Dash pattern. This quilt dates back to the mid to late 19th century, and was found at an estate here in Vermont. While the front of the quilt was remarkably intact aside from sun damage and fabric disintegration in areas, the entire back was brittle and disintegrating throughout.
