Second impression of the first edition, issued three year after first printing. Publisher's blue cloth with the price clipped dust jacket, untorn, backstrip slightly sunned and rubbed at ends. A collection of 40 poems. Hughes's first book of poetry and second overall after 'Lupercal'. The book received immediate acclaim in both England and America, where it won the
