Printing blocks are hand carved from teak wood. Taking roughly two days to hand carve. These hand carved block will wear out after about 800 metres of printing. The artist will tediously stamp the printing block almost 500 times to finish only 1. 5 metres of fabric. It can take up tp 30 printing blocks to create a single quilt
