Publisher's pale orange cloth, slightly soiled, with gilt lettered brown spine panel, with the excellent and unclipped dust jacket illustrated by British artist John Minton. Frontispiece, titlepage and further text illustrations also by Minton. Jacket chipped at head of the spine with some loss, corner tips rubbed. Small area of staining at foot of first 100 or so pages.
