The two plank seat and arms both sit above bobbin supports. The three plank back sits on braces with removable pegs which operate as a mechanism for the back to be tilted forward, turning the chair into a table. There are three peg holes in each arm for the table to be adjusted if needed. There is a small loss to the wood on one of the braces but this is purely aesthetic and does not
