These elegant songbirds of the New Zealand bush are easily identified by the white tuft under their chin (the poi). Tui make unique, distinctive sounds and songs so they're often heard before they're seen. They feed on the native flowers of flax, pohutukawa and kowhai. Featured in teal blue, with contrasting black and gold, and striking white poi.
