19th Century Bronze Venus of Capua Books - Essays The business was re-styled CarringtonA superb Grand Tour bronze of Venus of Capua, circa. late 19th century. The Venus of Capua is a Roman marble sculpture (2nd century AD), preserved in the National Archaeological Museum of Naples, depicting Venus with her left foot on Mars' helmet and arms raised.
