Woodcarving was heavily used in ancient Chinese residential constructions for windows and doors. There is wide variety of carving themes of flowers, shapes, human figures or even full historical stories. This one has beautifully carving with symmetrical patterns connected by flowers and dragons. This panel is in excellent condition even though it was exposed outside for long time.
