Roan Ligon cotton I wanted to portray themRoan Ligon (They Them)Grade 11th, Abraham Lincoln High SchoolThe Sorrows of MaryAcrylic Paint on Canvas 19x82021$25 My piece was inspired by the "Seven Sorrows of Mary." She is shown crying with seven daggers through her heart. This is meant to represent the pains of daily life. The figure in my painting has three swords through her its heart. I added gore to de romanticize this martyr like suffering.
