かわいらしい李朝白磁青花草文水滴です。日々の書道具にいかがでしょうか。

須恵器 小壺 （古墳時代 3-7世紀）。

表情の良い大きな菩薩像です。時代と共に塗が落ちています。

本品にも用いられている鉄釉は、斑らにかかっており、本来は未完成として捨て置かれた茶碗です。また、口元にも直しがあります。しかし、こういった不完全なものの中に「侘び寂び」を見い出し、その焼き上がりを景色として楽しむことができるのも、また茶の湯から生まれた精神性でしょう。
