They provide the structural foundation for a set of Givi SLD01 series frame sliders (sold separately). Since SLD01 series sliders are sold separately, they can be replaced if damaged. The sliders are aerodynamic and feature a fiberglass reinforced polymer that's backed with an anodized aluminum plate.
