full cut off-the-shoulder sleeves that are gathered at the velvet trimmed cuff

The piece is of either British or Continental European origin as the glass does not fluoresce under UV lighting

Vintage 1940s Occupied Japan Figurine Baseball Player at Bat yellow I’m unsure as to howThis is a figurine made in the form of a baseball player at bat. He is stamped with Made in Occupied Japan in black on the underside. He certainly has a determined, and rather mean, look on his face. It measures 3 3 8 in height at his bat and is in very good condition with no chips, cracks or wear there is what looks like a scuff on his arm, but this is underglaze, so original to the making of the piece. I believe that pieces that are stamped Occupied
