so only the blue colour shows and the gold was washed out by the lighting

The frame measures 16 1/4 by 20 1/4 with a depth of 1" and the piece is in excellent condition - very well cared for over the last 50+ years

Large Vintage 1930s Meissen Porcelain Bowl Hand Painted Gold & Polychrome Flowers 1970s CBC The gloves are marked “6This is a large Meissen porcelain bowl that is decorated with hand painted flowers in its centre and generously in gold on raised floral detail. This bowl is meant as a decorative piece rather than a functional one much too pretty to fill with food. The underside is marked with the Meissen crossed swords backstamp that was used from 1934 until 1945. There are two scratches through the mark, which means that it has been designed a seconds quality.
