Green glazed Lobster sculpture Excellent conditionThis piece is either a crayfish or a lobster. The green glaze is typical of Shiwan potteries. This glaze was used in the small ginger jars that were exported since the turn of the 20th century. The unglazed areas show the sandy composition of the Shiwan clay, which also offers as support for dating. It places this piece in the 1950's era.
