李朝時代、大変珍しい立像型の木人像です。

越前では鎌倉時代末期から室町時代にかけて見られる短い縁帯をもつ口作りで、小型ながら力強い壺です。

白デルフトは軟膏入れとして作陶されたものですが、軟陶でヨーグルトをかけたような柔らかな肌、すっと馴染む手取り、ニュアンス豊かな表情は普遍的な美しさがあります。

鎌倉時代の古常滑壺です。
