Vintage Gold Metallic Brocade Evening Coat 1960s Ladies Size Medium 50s Grey Wool Suit especially if folded to theThis is a very rich looking vintage evening coat featuring a metallic gold brocade fabric. The fabric is woven with a paisley and foliate pattern in gold, with silver accents, against a deep purple silk background that almost appears black due to the contrast with the gold. I believe that it dates to the 1960s it looks very much like something that one of the beautiful people would have worn. It did come from a wealthy estate. The fabric looks to me
