鍵盤の内側には和紙を貼ってあげると良さそうです。

使い込まれるうちに、真鍮はほぼ剥離し、地鉄が出ています。長い時間を経て、酸化緑青と白錆が進み融合した、興味深いマチエールです。柔らかく息を吐くような、ふんわりとした表情がとても愛らしいく感じます。

本作は、木の板を透かし彫りにして獅子と牡丹を表現した欄間です。獅子は荒彫りと細彫りを使い分けて毛並みを、牡丹は花弁の凹凸で立体感を出しています。
