Cask No. 133.5 Sweet fruity & mellow To taste we thought thatThe neat nose was as clean as a whistle and full of crisp, brittle smokiness. The Panel detected notes of sandalwood, coal smoke, smoked lemons and herbal aspects such as dried mint, verbena and lemon thyme. Water brought coastal hints such as beach foam and rock pools, but also waxed jackets, anchovy sauce and briny peat smoke. When neat, the palate displayed pure and simple peat smoke in the most beautiful sense: lots of wood smoke, lemon tea,
