李朝中期の名品で、提灯壺や満月壺（タルハンアリ）と呼ばれる白磁壺です。李氏朝鮮時代は、儒教の思想が強く、工芸においても、その儒教的感受性により、装飾を抑えた白磁の純粋な美しさが、最もふさわしいものとして、捉えられました。

使い重ねるほどに木肌は育ち、色合いは落ち着きを深めていきます。時間とともに移ろう姿も、この道具の楽しみのひとつです。
