This is a gorgeous 1930s era “teddy”

The purse is made in a large square shape with a silver-toned metal clasp and top frame

It has medium width notched lapels and closes with three plastic buttons at the front

The piece is made of superior quality silk and based on a Napoleon scarf design by Philippe Ledoux. The original Napoleon scarf was issued in 1963 and then re issued in 1985 and subsequently. I believe that this piece dates to the 1960s due to its style and short length too long to be a blouse and doesnt really fit into the styles of the 1980s or 90s. Ive owned this blouse for 35 years
