As this is a mixed set, buttons within one set may be out of different clays, so the backsides are of different colors. One might be white porcelain, the other one black or yellow clay etc. As most other our buttons these were fired two times. First firing is the so called bisque firing where temperature goes as high as 1000C degrees. After that our buttons are ready to be
