Sweet, crisp, and rich, developing a more complex flavour as it ripens. Will store until December. Very hardy and good at withstanding cold winds. Reputedly introduced in 1790 by Wood of Huntingdon, but later renamed when it was found in Court of Wick at Yatton in Somerset.
