Round green pear almost completely covered with russet and some red orange flush. First flowers early April. Harvest early September. Discovered and named in 2002 by Dave Matthews on a farm in Gwehelog, near Raglan. Well balanced perry with a distinctive aroma. Permission to use photograph by the Welsh Perry and Cider Society is gratefully acknowledged.
