Gwehelog Red Size:Kirchensaller A late Welsh eater andA Welsh perry pear from Monmouthshire. Good enough for a single variety perry. Round green pear almost completely covered with russet and some red orange flush. First flowers early April. Harvest early September. Discovered and named in 2002 by Dave Matthews on a farm in Gwehelog, near Raglan. Well balanced perry with a distinctive aroma.
