Bring a lunch. $300 Plus, FREE Artist Talk at KOBO shop and gallery, August 9 at 2pm, made possible by 4 Culture's Public Access Grant. Kei Shimaoka was born in Mashiko in 1978 and graduated from the Tochigi Prefecture Ceramics Guidance Center in 1997, the same year he started as an apprentice to his grandfather, Tatsuzo Shimaoka.
