NIGER COAST 1894 ½d on 2½d blue, SG65 Germany stamps A hugely rare original 1967Niger Coast 1894 (10 Aug) d on 2d blue, type 17 surcharge, Old Calabar provisional, tied to small piece by 'OLD CALABAR' squared circle, dated 'SP 24 94'. First state of position 8 of the setting, prior to the broken 'N' in 'ONE, SG65. A fine and scarce used example. Very scarce with only 960 of the basic stamps being issued.
