Each Izumo fountain pen is hand coated with multiple layers of urushi, then polished to a high shine. This Soratame edition features 40 layers of green lacquer followed by 40 layers of black lacquer. As a living material, the urushi finish on the Izumo Soratame will become more beautiful with time and use. The
