Taking its name from the German word knittern, meaning wrinkle, the Knitterling pendant was designed in 1978. The Japanese paper shade takes a simple conical form, decorated with intentional crinkles in the paper to produce a soft and gently diffused light. The straightforward design features a practical fixing on
