Designed in 1988, Comodo is a versatile piece of furniture that typifies Castiglioni's uniquely questioning design approach. A metal stem with an expressive tripod base supports a wooden box with a hinged tray shaped lid. Reminiscent of traditional wooden sewing boxes, this hinged lid raises to reveal a compartment which can be used to store all manner of small items.
