You don't lose out on cards and only a tiny bit in tempo

For example, if you blight 2 and put two -1/-1 counters on a creature with three +1/+1 counters on it, two of those +1/+1 counters and the two -1/-1 counters will be removed, leaving the creature with only a single +1/+1 counter on it

If thats not fitting for the problem youre facing, you can also choose to have all creature tokens get -2/-2 until the end of the turn, which is going to be great against Wolf tokens, Zombie tokens, probably Human tokens and basically every other creature token too
