There are certainly cards that work fine with both and it can be done but you will either have stuff that does nothing with one half of your engines or you will have a pretty underwhelming Sneak Attack compared to what it can do

Once flipped, its cheap to buff one of your creatures, and it can be used as a battle trick

While it's draw back is a bit on the heavy side, it was still a very commonly played card in it's day, which makes me wonder why isn't it still getting the same fan fare in the format in this day and age
