It is hard to get much in the way of card quality into the deck and so even with the perfect land balance you will find you are going off course and critically screwing and flooding more than most other cube decks

This is really efficient for what it is, and while it'll be hard to get in with your Hero token, this is really cheap to move around, so you're going to find a creature who can benefit from it
